Description

Hey guys, I'm submitting art.

Yes, you read that right. ART.

So here you go! I really hope you enjoy this picture as much as I did making it. These two characters were chosen because they're my favorites form their respective franchises! (Sonic and Pokemon, in case you couldn't tell.)

Google Images was used for any and all references needed.

Tails obviously belongs to SEGA, and Zangoose belongs to Gamefreak / Nintendo.

This is a pretty neat drawing; I love how it incorporates characters and aspects from different fandoms. Crossovers seem to make it easier for the "intended audience" of the drawing to relate to.

I really enjoy the bright and lively colors of this picture, along with the expressions of the characters depicted. The main drawbacks I can see from this picture are the lineart and shading. To me it seems as though the lineart is a little bit shaky; perhaps you could try playing around with the brush dynamics in the program you're using. I'm still trying to figure out my optimal brush settings for my drawing, it takes awhile, but it's fun to try out new possibilities! The shading in this picture seems a little bare, for lack of a better word. Maybe instead of making many little shadows on each tuft of fur, you could make a few large shadows. This could help delineate the direction in which the light source is coming from. Granted, I am a novice when it comes to shading, but hopefully my advice will still help. ^w^

Overall this is a very cute picture and I look forward to seeing your future drawings. Keep up the good work!
