Literature Text

Within our breast lies which is no jest;

Coals long cold now burn quite bold.

Our hearts beat firm as much as worms squirm;

When threats prove dire, our souls catch fire!

Adversity is fuel when faced with a deadly duel;

How many will fall as we unleash our squall?

Blood shall pour when we give what is in store;

As battle transpires, our souls resemble wildfires!

Written and carved, talisman and charm will keep us from harm;

Wrapped in glory, our men will partake in this fabled story!

The enemy will regret the carnage they formerly beget;

Victory is all we will inspire, for our souls are on fire!
New poetry... le gasp!  xD

This one was written idly during a few of my college classes, and I thought that it was nice enough to warrant submission.  I suppose that the deviants will decide for themselves, however!  :3

This poem is semi-spiritual, though it names no certain groups or entities other than very broad ones.  Take it any way that you will!
