Your words always hit me like a ton of bricks; They drip of excitement, and they're extremely sweet.
Knowing that you adore me, just as much as I do you, makes me more eager for whenever we meet!
Our life together will be so great; Waking up to your loving embrace will be a lovely treat.
And those who said it'll never work were wrong, because the miles don't matter to us!
I care so much about you, even though you're far away; It's not always easy, as I cannot reach out to hold your hand.
It's not always easy to comfort you when you're sad; Being there with you would make it easier for us to stand.
Regardless of how hard it is, I know you're the one; No other thrills my heart, nor makes me as happy, in any land!

The sight of couples enjoying each other can bring a bit of envy; For though I have your love, you are not here.

Not only is this a gift for the esteemed and awesome =Black--Gold, but this is my first try at a Ballad. I found it to be a delicious challenge compared to how I usually do rhymes.
